Riverview TFS also manufactured the timber frame for Hannah Naughton’s eco house in Slane in Co. Meath.  This house featured as a case study of an eco-build house in Construct Ireland (Vol. 2, Issue 10).  Hannah decided to build a timber framed house because of the possibilities it lent for higher insulation levels.  Her aim in building this type of house was to achieve a warm, environmentally friendly house with minimal heating costs.  Her completed house surpassed all of her expectations.  Again, because of our positive association, in the past, with Neil Crossan of Ecological Building Systems we had no hesitation in putting Hannah in touch with this company whose energy efficient technology ensured that running costs would be minimal.
